This is a clever, and timely, film from the director of the gay classic "Like It Is". This is a more ambitious film in that all of the filming pertains to be done via CCTV or surveillance cameras. Watching the film, I'm not sure if that is true, but it is an interesting concept although it does make the film more difficult to "get into". The acting is good throughout and Tom Harper is thoroughly engaging. The storyline, centring around a royal cover-up, won't please royalists by any means - but is sadly thoroughly believeable.

Don't be put off by the negative reviews that have gone before. This is a fine film. It isn't a blockbuster or mainstream movie, but if you're looking for something a little different but still accessable, this is a nifty, fast-paced thriller.

This was a very interesting film given what is going on these days with 'big brother' surveillance everywhere so I thought it was really timely and had a lot to say and working the surveillance idea into a neat thriller involving the royal family was clever and very original. Nice change for the hero to be gay man and Dawn Steele is always hugely watchable. I thought this was a neat twist and turn film that showed a lot of new ideas in terms of story and filming style.

The plot is beleivable which makes a change. Big Brother is with us and the outcome of his early actions is predictable and scary for gay guys in these situations. Worth watching more than one time.

Sub Bourne Identity gays vs the establishment stuff. Not terrible by any means, it at least makes you think about how much we are monitored wherever we are. This would have been better with some soft porn which I thought it was grrrr.

I think the prevous reviews are a little harsh. The "dodgy" camerawork is explained at the start of the film by the premise that it is assembled from various sources of surveillance footage. I found it quite an interesting concept, given the prevelance today of CCTV and other forms of electronic monitoring. I think it is pretty well paced and acted, although I feel Adam's character needed more depth in order to make us sympathise when his life starts to unravel. I think it's certainly worth a watch.
