Lucas was a complete jerk who did nothing but boss Victoria around and accuse her of trying to manipulate him. He would not even let her spend her own money as she wanted. He treated her as if she were a stupid child instead of his wife. Other than that I loved the book. I feel it would have been much better if Lucas didn't spend so much time telling his wife what to do.

Please free up your evening & unwind with this book . I'm a big fan of Amanda Quick & with this offering she didn't disappoint me . The two lead characters , Victoria & Lucas , have a chemistry that makes this book a pleasure to read . If you are looking for adventure & romance all rolled into one then I recommend that you read this one .

I'll keep it short and sweet - I loved this book! It was one that I was sorry to finish. The characters were perfect together and the verbal bantering was hilarious.

Victoria and Lucas were good together. I knew the moment he met her he was in LOVE with her. She kept him on his toes the whole time.
