Edward MacLysaght's The Surnames of Ireland is a 'must have' for anybody seriously interested in Irish genealogy.

This has got to be the definitive text for the study of Irish names. Written by the former Chief Herald of Ireland it is informative and written in a clear and easy to read format. Great for just dipping into or for serious study

Didn't feel condition of book was as advertised therefore disappointed.
Book contents very useful. Would be cautious of buying secondhand books on line again.
