RIGHT. This worked marginally well around the pubic bone, for getting the worst of it. Baring in mind, I've got a good pain threshold. I have piercings here and everywhere etc. So I'm used to stingy pains and I deal with them fine.

ALTHOUGH, the area around the pubic bone wasn't that bad, I would say you're best off going to a salon or something. A lot of women wouldn't be able to get every area on their own, and baring in mind it DOES hurt. It will, you're ripping hair from your body in large amounts. What I would add, is that the closer you get to your lips, the more is friggin' HURTS. I couldn't deal with that. It really began to destroy my soul as I got closer down there and I had to stop as it was making my eyes water. I don't want to repeat that again. So I shaved what was left. (Leading to hair growing back at different times -_-")

So yeah, it was okay, it did half a job. You're forced to re-microwave the wax about three times, which is a pain if you're like me and do it in your bedroom and your kitchen is downstairs. You're left to waddle up and down a staircase with no underwear on and a wispy foo-foo. It works.. Kinda. But really, I wouldn't buy it again as it's not worth it. I will stick to shaving.

I've never waxed at home before...always in Spa by experts....But after I bought this product from amazon to try after my wedding...I was surprized with how fast and effective this product...very easy and no pain at all...the instructions were easy to follow and I found the oil very useful.

I advise girls to buy this product especially those who never waxed at home...you'll find it easy and happy with the results just like me :)

So I've been using a sugaring kit for my Brazilians since December 2012 and have gradually become really good with it. But I'd seen such good reviews on this, I thought I'd give it a try.

Firstly - ouch! This stuff is far far more painful than when I have it done professionally or when I sugar myself (why does that sound rude?). You spread the wax on and then use your nail to flick up a corner, and then rip it back (not up, but in a backwards, parallel to the skin type of motion). Let me say that the flicking motion HURTS!!! Especially on the really delicate parts!!! It's effective on longer hairs but does not grab any short hairs at all - I'm literally left with what looks like stubble. My sugaring kit, on the other hand takes even the shortest hairs out, leaving my skin silky smooth. The wax also hardens very quickly, and I tried putting the pot into a saucepan of boiling water to keep it at the right consistency but once it hardens there's no other way - you simply have to put it back in the microwave to melt. Awkward. Could perhaps do with a better pot that holds the heat more effectively.
Also, I don't know how you're supposed to reuse the spatulas, once it hardens on the wooden sticks it's impossible to remove. In fact, once you spread it on your skin, if you leave it on too long by accident it's really difficult (and painful) to remove.
I will keep trying with this though - maybe it's pilot error and I'll get better the more I use it. We'll see. Until then I'm giving this a very average 3 stars - but I was on the cusp of awarding two.

Edited to add: if you put a towel down when using this, do NOT then put it in the washing machine on a hot wash. The wax will melt, then attach itself to the nearest item of clothing/bedding/etc thereby ruining it. Best off to keep a towel just for waxing purposes, and don't wash it, just throw it out once it starts to look really gross.

This wax does the job really well however i found that you have to constantly re-visit the microwave and i did find it incredibly painful although if you buy MUSLIN WAX STRIPS to go with the wax its much less painful :)

Not for me..must admit it was my first time trying to wax myself so hands up I'm very inexperienced however I gave it a chance and it turns out I'm not good at it weather it's just my crappy waxing skills or partly the product I'm unsure haven't had the courage to try it a different product to compare this too.

Easy to use, easy to heat and is an efficient home waxing kit. I have seen some other home brazilian kits that have a heat sensor on the spatula so you know if the product is too hot to use - this would be helpful. Also, why do all hot waxes have a funny smell? Anyway, would recommend and will buy again.

You don't use too much of the wax when waxing, but it takes a while to dry. The wax itself doesn't leave too much residue on the skin post-wax, and only few areas are sticky. However, the microwave instructions were not accurate at all, at least not for me. It didn't turn soft at all even after 3 minutes in the microwave and started to react weirdly in the microwave, making it "buzz" and the light in the microwave flash. After being a little concerned, I had to heat it up in a small pan filled with water. This method worked and I was able to get the wax soft and it stayed creamy for at least 10-15 minutes. The wax can be tricky to remove from the skin at first but I think with practice it'll become easier. I gave it two stars because although the product itself has no faults, I'm not entirely in love with it and the packaging is just such a pain in the ass to heat up.
