The Sure Shot Junior Backboard and Ring is an ideal wall mounted backboard and ring for youngsters aged between 7 and 10 years. Solid melamine backboard 79 cm x 60 cm and solid steel ring of 45 cm which is full size. Net and ring fixings are included. Weatherproof construction. Approved by England Basketball, Basketball Scotland and Basketball Ireland.
Product Description
The Sure Shot Junior Shot is a great starter set for children aged from 8 years of age and older making it ideal for school use, as well as home. The traditional looking 35"" (90cm) x 24"" (60cm) backboard is constructed from solid melamine board incorporating the England Basketball logo. The unit comes fully equipped with fixings for wall mounting making it ideal for outdoor use. The backboard comes with a 18"" (45cm) solid steel ring together with the a red, white and blue net. The Junior Shot has been approved by England Basketball and Basketball Scotland. The Junior Shot backboard can also be used a replacement board for the 63553.

Ordered this product Tuesday pm, arrived Wednesday. Excellent delivery service. It is now only Sunday and the ring is bent down at an angle of about 30degrees. Nobody has hung on the hoop. This is just from a standard basketball hitting the hoop. Would not recommend this product as it is not strong enough for the purpose that was intended for it.

This basketball hoop is very flimsy and within two days of use, it was broken (supporting metal struts broken and hoop bent down from horizontal position). I took it to be a proper hoop when I bought it as it is full size but it should be marketed as a toy (Junior is the word!) and is useless for playing with full-weight basketballs.

When the item was delivered the hoop was bent and the backboard was black instead of orange and was also scratched. Amazon quicly sent a replacement, however the backboard was still black and also scratched. My daughter had been waiting for it ao I fitted it rather than try to get another replacement.

My son loves this basketball net. It was easy to assemle and to fix onto the wall. He really enjoys practising his shooting skills.
