This book is more a "review" of the strategic model of judicial behavior. It's great for readers unfamiliar with the literature and who want an overview of the arguments. However, I would have liked to have seen some more of the primary literature as well, especially the data. So many of the arguments hinge on the data, yet they're only referenced in passing. Still, like I said, a great introduction - even if it is already a decade old.
