I have used various types of flight socks and found these most comfortable and effective. At this price I consider them good value for money.

These socks are both very light weight and offer really good support. Also the socks are a good length if you are tall I am 5ft 7" there will be no problem with the socks riding down.
These are really good value for money and would make the perfect spring / summer support socks.
I hope this review helps

Fitted well, comfortable and hard wearing. These were delivered very quickly and after trying the first pair I ordered another 3. They are exceptionally good value for money and I wear mine a lot of the time, not just for travel, but if I know I have to sit in front of a computer for a long time during the working day. They wash well, too. Initially I thought they would not be big enough as I have rather 'chunky' legs, but there is plenty of room. Getting them on for the first time takes a little effort, but after that, no problems.

As an habitual compression-sock wearing, having been operated on for varicose veins I have more than a decade of experience with different types of compression socks and stockings. These are a cheap imitation, I am certain they do not supply the level of compression claimed in their publicity and am very surprised that they appear to be endorsed by University College London. Instead of the standard graduated compression highest in the ankle and decreasing up the calf to the knee these socks have a narrow elasticated band just above the ankle and then no real compression until a second elasticated band just below the knee, where the compression should be at a minimum. Apart from the two elastic bands, the rest of the material of the sock is flimsy mesh delivering little compression. My impression is that these are a cheap and probably unlicensed impression of a genuine compression sock - this idea is supported by the fact that the sock arrives in a flimsy plastic packet devoid of any identification of company and place of manufacture, specifications, etc. Apart from being a blatant rip-off and a total waste of money I feel that they represent a danger as customers looking for vascular compression for medical conditions or to avoid risk of DVT on long-haul flights may be duped into using these socks but in fact receive no protection. I would recommend avoiding these socks - their are numbers of other genuine and effective products which do not cost much more and will actually function.

Needed for two long haul transatlantic flights, upon advice from my Doctor. I don't know how these compare to more expensive products, but they were not uncomfortable and seemed to help.
