I endorse the favourable reviews for this product. After decades - yes decades of ankle pain while walking, i have found great relief with this support. I am now able to join my wife in pleasant walks, confident that afterwards i will not be in pain and out of commission for days on end. Lastrap is a well researched product unlike many i have bought in the past, and the adjustment is left to the wearer rather that the tightness etc being predetermined.
My one criticism of it is that the gel package is not keen to stay in position, the velcro tags not being adequate to keep it in place in the course of the exercise. This negates the promised absorption of jarring when in motion. it would be a refinement of the product if a more secure fixing were introduced. My wife, a good needleperson, tried to anchor the gel pack, but this led to leakage of the gel!
Notwithstanding this, i recommend the support to anyone seeking stability in a damaged ankle.

Suffered for years with a weak ankle due to a previous badly set (undiagnosed) broken ankle. Just needed to step on a matchstick and over I went. At last I've bought a comfortable, fully functional support. However, my support came in a box with pictures. There were no fitting instructions, and after several tries I figured out how it went on so I can see how some may be confused thus giving the one or two low star ratings. In my case common sense prevailed before I pounded the keyboard in indignation and rage. I'm giving this product five stars because it works for me and does what it says on the box.

i have tried many ankle supports over the years but this justs overpowers the rest!
after wearing it for 3 - 4 days, my ankle pain has been reduced significantly and the yellow pad helps a lot! the pad has a velcro strap so it can be moved around!
will definitely recommend to other sufferers!
