SYNOPSIS: ESUS is an experimental unit set up to try and forge closer links between MI5 and the police force. The unit is headed by MI5 agents, but the rest of the team have been seconded from regional police forces because of their specialist undercover expertise. ESUS' brief is to investigate cases that go beyond the remit of either the regional police forces or special branch. GOLDEN GOOSE: When junior Parliamentary Under Secretary Peter Gleeson commits suicide after being exposed as being a homosexual in Exclusive! Magazine the team go undercover to investigate a private drinking club called the Golden Goose where they become embroiled in scandal, blackmail and tragedy.

If you have not seen this on tv, its a great couple of evenings in but you MUST buy the 3 dvd's in the series.

This has got to be one of the best programmes ever. There is a very good selection of actors/actresses in this programme. I only brought this because my favourite actor is in this (Larry Lamb) but the programme is bloody brilliant. A Superb undercover police programme. Top of the range, Highly recommended
