5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reading, 15 Oct 2003
By Budge Burgess (Kilmarnock, Scotland) - See all my reviews
(TOP 50 REVIEWER)
The task of supervision within the caring professions is one capable of the most apalling mismanagement; the process can be sterile or even abusive. Hawkins and Shohet present a number of models of staff supervision, talk through purpose and objectives, and provide an inspirational analysis. Essential reading for anyone moving into a staff supervision role ... or conscious their current supervision is less than satisfactory.
