Coaching supervision is a relatively new field, so it's good to get a new book on the subject. I was surprised to find that the emphasis of the book is more about CPD for coaches, with supervision just a part of what's discussed. Having said that, there is much that interested me, as a coach and coaching supervisor, and I think it would be a useful read for buyers of coaching services too. There's a range of thinking about, and approaches to, supervision. There's debate on what constitutes supervision, useful insights into reflective practice, other forms of CPD and exploration of the important area of ethics. There's even a chapter on legal issues for coaches, a rare bonus. Overall a quite eclectic collection but probably something for everyone.
