5.0 out of 5 stars Oasis at their best 27 Oct 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Possibly the best British band in the world ever (except the Beatles of course!) and one of their best singles ever.
'Supersonic' comes from their debut album 'Definetly Maybe. Both of these are worth having in your CD collections as this was a great period for music in the UK. The start of the Brit-pop war of Blur and Oasis was just beginning and Oasis stole a lead with argueably their greatest tune to date.
'Supersonic' is a writen by Noel Gallagher and song to perfectionby the whiney voice of Liam. It has everything, great electric guitar sound, great drums and a great voice. I can guarentee that you will be singing along to what has to be one of the songs of an era.
Early Oasis music is definetly much better than the more recent releases, so I would advise you to buy this instead of some of the new stuff.

4.0 out of 5 stars Take Me Away 8 Feb 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Supersonic as a great song with an excellent ending. As with most Oasis songs, Noel continues playing his guitar for a couple minutes after Liam has stopped singing. Columbia(White Label demo is decent while I Will Believe(Live) is a great track that deserves to be recorded in a studio. The gem on the CD is Take Me Away. It is probably the best song that Noel has ever sang on an Oasis record(It is also the first).
5.0 out of 5 stars Clasico 13 Dec 2009

A la fecha he comprado por este medio "Live forever", "Supersonic", "Cigarettes & Alcohol", "Some might say", "Don't look back in anger", "Go let it out", "Lyla" y "The importance of being idle". Todos me llegaron rapidisimo a mi direccion en USA, en promedio de 3 a 7 dias habiles. No lo dudes.

4.0 out of 5 stars The original Oasis 2 Feb 2001
By S. J. Grindrod - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
The original, and one of the best singles Oasis have ever churned out. Columbia is also good. The b-sides aren't of the highest standard but they sure made up for that didn't they? This CD rocks.

5.0 out of 5 stars C O L U M B I A I S A M A Z I N G 22 April 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

When I bought myself "Definitely Maybe", I found Supersonic was one of the best songs there, and when I finally got to buy the single, I found it amazing. Take me away is a very sweet calm melody and I will believe is also great. The song that I loved here was the white label demo of Columbia, which is "confusingly" awesome. This is confusion, am I amusing you?
