Very happy with this and so are the chinchilla, although how they both get in it together is beyond me. Easy to build and a nice size.

The item arrived flat packed with no instructions on how to put it together... fortunately it isn't difficult as it all slots together, so it's easy to reassemble if need be and best of all it requires no glues or screws so is 100% safe for your chinny to gnaw away on.
Was however slightly disappointed to find it has no floor, so I have placed it on top of a piece of marble my chinny already had.
The main thing is that my chinny loves his new home and is spending way more time in this one than he did in his pets at home one.
Would definitely purchase another one once he has chewed his way through this one.

I bought this box for my 3 degus, as they had outgrown the birdbox that i used for them when they were babies. This box fits a chinchilla and 3 degus easily. It is great quality and size, but the only thing is that you have to figure out how to put it together yourself, as there are no instructions. This is really easy to do, but it was a little hard to slot some of the pieces together at the end, as it uses no nails/glue, so you need to force the pieces into a really tight fit. After this though, it is perfect, and as the box has no bottom, it is really easy to clean and has no problem with urine stains, which is a plus with rodents :)
