If you have the previous 3 season's companions then you will know what kind of thing to expect.
As with the other books in this series of companions the book is wider than A5 size.
There is a background summary of each episode for the season and as well as the usual interviews with Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam), along with Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer), Misha Collins (Castiel), Mark Rolston (Alastair), etc. Eleven interviews in total, though most are only one page in length but "Sam" and "Dean" get 4 pages each (including one black and white full page photo).
There are the usual glossy, full page, full colour, photos; 16 in total.
I still find the "did you know" boxes interesting, but I have one for the publishers. Did you know that you have repeated the same one on page 10 and page 12?
Included are the usual "music" information side boxes for those famous tunes that you just can't remember the name of. They are always handy to have.
Once again this is a great book to have along side you when you are watching the DVD boxset so you can check on those little points that slipped past you. For example, the episode made after Kim Manners death "Jump the Shark" is full of acknowledgements to their missing friend.
It is great to see a companion that has kept up the high standard it set throughout the books.
