Delivery was fast and great value , but I didn't love the results from this film. Maybe I'm spoiled by iso1600 digital, but the colours were pretty flat. That said, you can shoot in much lower light than you can with conventional film, so it did the job! If you scan your images onto the computer, you can increase the saturation and contrast a bit too!

Ordered this Fuji Superia 1600 film for one of my fixed exposure cameras which struggles in low light conditions (even on grey days). I used it for a wedding with rain forecast but it turned out to be a fantastically sunny day. I was worried the pictures would be over exposed but they turned out really well. There was some loss of the bright colours I would expect from Superia 400 in the same conditions but they were good all the same.

The photos I took indoors with reduced natural light (and no flash) were not brilliant but good enough to get a snap of the bride and groom cutting the cake if it's a somewhat dark shot. The shots I took outdoors in the evening as the light faded turned out great and a 400 wouldn't have stood a chance.

So overall well worth it for low light conditions with my F9-11 camera but don't expect miracles indoors or the same depth of colour as a lower speed film in bright conditions.

I would say less grainy in final prints than my D-70 at this speed - but I can't take hundreds of pictures :(
