5.0 out of 5 stars If you have kids you NEED this book!, 2 Oct 2009

This review is from: Superfoods for Healthy Kids: How to Keep Your Child's Immune System Fighting Fit (Healthy Living) (Paperback)
I bought this book with the good intention of using it. It was only when my daughter turned 18 months started nursery and was ill on off for 6 weeks that I remembered about this book. I did not want my daughter pumped full of antibiotics so when she really needs her immune system how will her body react?

After using the information in the book for her relevent symptom it has only taken ONE DAY to start improving her condition. She had cold after cold with virus allergic reaction all in 5/6 weeks. The best thing about this book is its very parent friendly. You get some books for babies/children that are not very practical or easy to use. This book takes you through every detail of the foods vitamins age groups and recipes. The starting age is 6 months.

Our food chain is so clogged up with GM foods, animals pumped full of junk sugar and fat a norm. If we want to protect the next generation we need to be making sure our kids get the best natural foods to ensure healthy eating for the future. This book is a tool for caring parents.

This is the most useful family cookery book that I have ever brought. I have used it since my children were babies. It guided me through weaning, and the childhood illnesses that all parents encounter such as chickenpox and the ubiquitous coughs and colds! It is full of recipes that are easy to make and really yummy that you can use for everyday meals, as well as for supporting your childs nutritional needs when they are ill. I would be lost without it. I buy it for all my friends with children.
