Ordered on Saturday 05/11, item arrived Tuesday 08/11.
Got this as a replacement to a Lacie 500GB designed by Sam Hecht - although it contained a Samsung HDD, the original case had a snappy usb lead which, having been bent too many times became fiddly and unstable.
Installed the SATA Samsung into this SuperSlimHD Aluminium enclosure in less than a minute and cannot believe how classy it looks and feels (without the HDD it does feel light and a tinnny but once an HDD is installed it feels tight and of a decent quality)
The lead has a micro USB socket on one end and 2 normal USB's on the other so is detachable. If for any reason this lead goes missing, I have 2 spare which I bought for a quid each for my HTC desire (though they only contain 1 normal USB on the other end as opposed to 2)
I am impressed that this thing only costs £6 whereas some not so great looking bigger portable HDD from places like Maplins cost up to 3 x as much.
Am in 2 minds whether to buy another one in case I want to upgrade my laptop's HDD.

Very hard to open it. No instructions are provided and it is a case very much of how much force you dare to apply to it in different directions until it falls open or breaks. The solution is to press on the star shaped dots on the side nearest the usb and, until you do open it, you will not be aware that these are spring loaded. Once you fee those clips the top and bottom black panels should slide backwards and then fall away, but this is not a task I want to try once the drive is in place as then the rubber middle section loses its mailability so best be sure the drive you put in is the one you want to leave in before you shut the lid!

practical and lightweight
really practical case, lightweight and looks amazing. slight problem to figure out how to open it initially, but once you get it right it is quite easy afterwards.
