Tap the top button on the right side of the timepiece and watch the screen come to life like a long chain of nucleotides bubbling up from The Primordial Soup. From here, it's actually quite easy to figure out what the time is - Each red dot is one hour of time. Each yellow dot is five minutes of time. Finally, each green dot is one minutes worth of time data. Five red, seven yellow, three green? It's 5:38 am!
Q. How do I set the time on this watch?
A. Press the lower button on the right side of the watch. This will cause the current setting to blink. Continue pressing the lower button until you arrive at the setting you want to change. Next, press the top button to change the information.
Q. What type of battery does this watch use?
A. This Japanese LED watch uses a single CR2016 watch battery which is pre-installed for you.
Q. How long does the battery last?
A. The battery should last longer than with a normal watch since time information is only displayed when you press the button.

I got one for my nephew and he loves it! I'm not entirely sure how he reads the time, but I'm sure it's simple once you've read the instructions.

Fantastic watch this is a great imitation of the tokyo flash infection watch for a great value!, turns heads and is a superb accessory to impress!, funny to see people trying to work out how to read it too!

I bought this watch like other buyers, under the impression that it was a cool device... which it is! If it would only just work! The item did not arrive in a gift box, it arrived wrapped in bubble wrap in a large box. The 'pre-installed' battery? No, it came with two batteries, but gave no indication on how to actually install the batteries. Also, it appears that the bottom button broke the moment I touched it and now it is stuck almost inside the watch itself. So flimsy! Other buyers do not seem to have had this same problem, so be wary in case this happens to you!
