I received this cat toy less than a week ago and it has already done the same as one of the other reviewers wrote. I came down this morning to it tweeting constantly and am now waiting for the battery to die because it's really annoying. Great idea but not worth the price for only a few days play. Glad I only purchased one.

We have three cats and upon receiving this package, they immediately showed interest in these chirping fluffy creatures. However, after about 2 hours of some throwing, batting, flinging and chewing, one of the mice didn't stop chirping. And it chirped.... and it chirped and chirped and chirped. Our cats looked at us with that look of "Why? Why did you give us this torture device? Make it stop!"
We tried everything, but eventually my husband had to take the mouse apart and take the battery out. It seems that if this toy gets a strong "knock", the microchip inside goes crazy. So to sum up: if the toy works, the cats love it. If it malfunctions, it drives you nuts.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Our two rarely play with toys, they much prefer playing "lets bash each other on the head" so I was quite surprised when they took to this. We very often hear the squeaking coming from the room their in, not so much fun if that room happens to be the bedroom and we're trying to sleep. It's well made and I can't see any bits of it coming off, the only downside is there is no way to change the battery.

Kitten loves it, Shame it fell apart

squeecking mouse
As a product, the cats LOVE it! Hit it and it chirps, which results in it being attacked again! As already said, too much abuse or a random knock and it continually chirps. Read more

Hours of kitten fun
