My 6 year old loved making these a little while ago, and continues to admire her handiwork today :) This kit is a safe and easy way to introduce your child to sewing. It's an excellent-quality kit and good value for money. Everything is included to make the 3 projects, so your little one can get sewing straight away. It's a great tool to start teaching your child how to sew, and it's lovely to watch their little faces light up when they see the finished item that THEY have created ... with your help of course, but we don't mention that to them ;)

I bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday as she loves arts and crafts and she has thoroughly enjoyed this item as a present. Brilliant buy, value for money!

Like all Klutz books, this has been an immediate hit with the four year old recipient. I bought it initially for a seven year old - but realised my mistake when it arrived - it's beautiful, lovely fabrics and pictures, cute designs and good quality stuff, but better suited to a younger audience, I would say between three (with adult help) and six years old.

Not really all that good.

Lovely intro to sewing.
My 4 yrs old loved doing this on holiday, as she'd seen me sewing lots before. Good intro to sewing. She wears the bracelet lots. Would Recommend.
