Forza Motorsport 3
Forza Motorsport is the Xbox 360's answer to Gran Turismo and returns in Forza Motorsport 3 as the most complete driving simulator yet.

This sequel's goal isn't just realism though but accessibility, with plenty of features to suit every kind of gamer and car enthusiast. Backed by breathtaking HD graphics and bone-jarring physics, players take the wheel of more than 400 of the most-beloved cars on over 100 renowned real-world tracks and exotic road courses from around the globe, while new customisation and sharing tools will further fuel the imaginations of the thriving "Forza Motorsport" community on Xbox LIVE.

The new rewind option makes a perfect lap a lot easier
Car models feature 10 times the detail of previous games, at 4 times the resolution
The new in-car view is just one of the new features

With hundreds of cars and tracks on offer the amount of choice could be daunting if not for the newly improved career mode. The game is able to analyse the way you play and the kind of cars and races you enjoy for the ultimate personalised experience.

The artificial intelligence of your rival racers is just as advanced, with some panicking if you get too close and all racing according to their own styles - not just staying stuck to the racing line. Xbox 360 Super Elite Specifications
Xbox 360 Super Elite is a sleek, customisable gaming and entertainment system, which measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It's powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz. It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor 10 MB of embedded DRAM. This is powerful enough to draw 500 million triangles per second. In other words, it makes for great looking games in standard TV definition, and even better thanks to built-in support for HDTV 1080i televisions. It also supports the widescreen 16:9 format.

The unit has a 12x dual-layer DVD-ROM drive, which plays both the game media and progressive-scan DVD movies right out of the box. For game-save and media storage this console package includes a 250GB hard drive. Along with storing files, the hard drive will make the Xbox 360 backward-compatible with part of the existing Xbox game library.

Control your Gameplay
Xbox 360 uses a refined button layout for its controllers. Back and Start buttons sit at the center of the controller and between them is a new Xbox Guide button, which instantly takes the user to the Xbox 360 user interface. From there, they can check for friends online, access personal digital content like photos and songs, and more. The black and white buttons of the first Xbox controllers have been replaced with new shoulder buttons placed above the left and right triggers. Xbox 360 can accommodate up to four wireless controllers and has three USB 2.0 slots to use for wired controllers or for streaming your digital media from digital cameras, MP3 players, and any Windows XP-based PC. Microsoft has also created a video-conferencing camera, sold separately, that will work with the system.

The Media Experience
All Xbox 360 titles can be played in either standard or high-definition resolution in 16:9 widescreen, with anti-aliasing for smoother graphics. Game designers will be able to take advantage of the system's multi-channel surround sound. The Xbox 360's digital media allows users to supplement any game's music from tracks in their own personal library.

Go Live
A built-in Ethernet port allows users to connect their system to a broadband connection for access to the new Xbox Live Silver. The included service lets anyone create a Gamertag and gamer card to express your online identity, chat live with voice chat, and connect to the Xbox Live Marketplace to buy expansions, maps, and other digital items for your games. The subscription service Xbox Live Gold adds to that online competition, game stats, and video chat/messaging. The separately sold wireless adapter supports the common 802.11a, -b, and -g standards.

Overall the Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite console has great graphics and is easy to use. There are a wide variety of games for everyone. Everything you need comes in the box such as a HDMI cable and an ethernet cable. There is still a lot of noise coming from the console. The online is not free. Also there is no bluray drive or wifi built in.Would of given the console a perfect score of 10/10 if had it had a blu-ray drive (internal or external). Exclusive games, XBox live, smart looking, ease of use, nice comfortable controllers, graphics that rival sometimes exceed PS3 graphics.

Forza Motorsport in itself is a great game. An excellent buy for any racing enthusiast, or even an aspiring artist, thanks to its comprehensive customisation section. Forza 3 - Great game, great content, looks great, feels great. Everything you could want in a simulation racer.

Onto the console. Looks good, the sleak black finish is very nice, the 250GB hard drive is a real plus and the extra controller is a nice addition aswell. Almost everything you would expect from an Xbox 360 is here -

My main concern with this product is the lack of HD capability out of the box. The consoles in the past came with HD component cables which is only logical because for most users they intend to enjoy a HD gaming experience. The more recent consoles however, due to Microsofts ever increasing greed, have taken the HD leads out of the box and replaced it with a standard cable, meaning you need to buy a HD component cable or HDMI cable seperately.
If this was the norm, I wouldn't be so shocked, but considering it has not always been the case, I grudge giving microsoft the extra pennies.

Overall, a good buy, great game, great console, but the lack of HD capability straight out of the box is a dissapointment, and the extra cost is something to keep in mind when looking to purchase this.

Im a regular gamer, usually use playstation 3 but i have recently bought an xbox 360 console.
I do really like the 360 and would recommend to anyone, Only thing that i dislike about the 360 is having to pay for online play!
Whereas on the PS3 you can play online for free.
On the plus side the 360 has other attributes i.e not having to add players to join their games when getting invited to their parties.
Party chat is a good feature.. The graphics are slightly sharper than any other console HD would look very realistic.
Xbox is a brilliant console overall. Do recommend.

This Xbox 360 bundle is great value and includes a 250GB hard drive, 2 wireless controllers and the new Forza 3 game. The console itself is amazing and when connected to a high definition TV has some of the best graphics and sound I've seen on the current generation of consoles. Just make sure you order an HDMI or Component cable if you have a compatible TV as only a standard TV cable is included in the box. The Xbox Live service is now even better value for money as its recently been upgraded to include the Sky TV player, Facebook, Twitter and movies on demand in full 1080p high definition. Also has a good selection of new games and back catalogue titles to suit all tastes. The only drawback with the Xbox 360 is its noisy fans and this can be slightly annoying during quiet scenes if you're watching a movie.

This is the THIRD 360 I've bought since launch and I'm hoping that it's going to be more reliable than the other two. I must be a glutton for punishment, as after four RRODs and a couple DVD drive problems, you'd think I might throw the towel in.....but no, I came back for more.

So far, I've noticed that this later incarnation of console does appear to run cooler - my old 20gb used to teeter on the edge of nuclear meltdown!! Also, installing games to the hard drive really quietens things down, so a couple of definite positives.

The only slightly negative thing for me is the cheapo headset M$ now supply - I preferred the old type, but that's only my opinion. Certainly not a deal breaker though.

Here's hoping M$ have got it right this time!!

Verified Purchase
I had one of the original XBOX 360 consoles before the days of HDMI.

Time for a new one I thought with HDMI, black in colour and a bigger hard drive.

Console is really great but makes a fair amount of noise.

Now a week after my purchase I see a new one is coming out next month which is smaller and quieter in operation and looks more elegant when on its side.

Back to this one.

Worked first time with no issues hooked up to my 1080p TV via my Sony AMP and HDMI (Note, HDMI cable is NOT provided so order a Amazon one the same time).

Unit comes with two controllers and one wired headset.

The first remote I tried was not paired with the XBOX, perhaps the other one was, so I had to press the connect button on the remote and console to get them to hook up.

Being a keen energy watcher and for those who care, the console in standby uses 1.7 watts of power which is about £1.61 a year.

In operation this value is between 50 and 90 watts depending on what the console is up to.

HD 1080p movies in via your internet connection and Microsoft Zune can also be watched on this console and after a 7Gb download of Xanadu I must admit in being impressed with the picture quality and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound (Current consoles only support Dolby Digital Sound but perhaps the new model will do more?).

At the current price with two controllers and Forza Motorsports 3 I think I made a good purchase.
