No more flying around trying to find each other and shoot antics of Sparking budokai, You get To fight up close all of the time like you should.
If your a fan of classic 2d fighters like street fighter but like DBZ, this is the game for you.

At last a DBZ game that has varied fighters and skills and allows you to actually FIGHT!

Fun:
Due to being a fan of anything DB,DBZ or DBGT, I was extremely excited when I not only heard from a fellow fan that a new DBZ game was coming out, but I felt even more excited when I went to buy it and learnt it was only £20!!

However, after loading up the game, I soon realised why. It literally is Street Fighter with DBZ.

Its taxing getting a decent hit combo,

The special moves do look good, il give it that, but thats really the only positive to the game,

Yes, you can charge up your special attacks, but you can do that too in Shin Budokai,

And even though the original Japanese voice cast is cool to listen to, they didnt bother with the English actors for the Western releases.

To me, the game does not exist, and the last DBZ game to come out was Shin Budokai.

All in all, I beg you, do no buy this game!! I got rid of my copy straight away!!

Dragon Bore Z 26 July 2006
By Chaos
I was quite excited when I saw this game in the shops as I knew nothing about it, but had enjoyed all the other Dragon Ball Z games I had bought.

However soon after returning home and booting up the game I realised I had made a mistake. This is an appauling game, it's barely an improvement on PS1 games.

I always liked the customisation aspects of Budokai 1,2&3 and was hoping this would have something similar. It doesn't. To improve your character you have to use the Dragon Balls and "Level up" your skills, a process which takes decades to gain a single level. Also as you win battles your BP increases, however this seems to do absolutely nothing!

Even as a fan I would advise you to avoid this game at all costs! I took my copy back the day after I bought it.
