5.0 out of 5 stars A Different Dub 4 Sep 2006
Format:Audio CD
This is a superb album. Usually dub albums strip down the sound and instrumentation, but this one seems to add layers of sound to create a dense jungle effect. Buy it and especially marvel at the uncredited Prince Jazzbo toast on Croaking Lizard. Deejay music at its best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Proper Dub Rhythms 26 Jun 2009
Format:Audio CD
One of the best albums of any kind I've bought recently. Some of the deepest dub rhythms married with gorgeous vocals and instrumentation. Does sound like it's been mixed under a pile of coats but I guess that was the original mix and it lends a certain authenticity. Loved it so much I bought Scratch's 'Arkology' CD which I'm halfway through (3 CD set) and so far is superb.

5.0 out of 5 stars john g 12 Dec 2008
By John G
Format:Audio CD
Bouncy, trippy and utterly mesmerising, I can't tire of hearing this album. This is the best piece of music I've ever heard. And I love music, all music. The percussion is unbelievable. Black Vest and Dread Lion are high points but the whole album rolls along effortlessly and is perfectly paced. I'm not a musician and find it hard to imagine how anyone could produce something this good.

I've seen one or two so-called lists of greatest reggae albums which don't even include this! Ridiculous.
