Got this timer to turn grow lights on in a cupboard and it works as well as a timer can.
Just plug it in, set it to the time of your clock, press all the little notches down where you want it to go off, (for example - if you want it to be off between 12am and 7am then press all the notches down between those two times and leave all the others up). Dont forget to slide the switch to the right position on the side for the timer to start.
So 5 stars from me on price, product, and delivery.

I wanted a timer that I could use to switch a fan on and off, about every hour or so through the day and night.
This did the job nicely with no problems.
I didn't notice it losing time so far and also, a tip is to use a match-head or cocktail stick to flip the little 15minute incremental switches on or off when setting it up. If you have fingers that are a bit clumsy like me!
Great low cost product, does the job well!

I am pleased with this timer, it is easy to set up although no instructions included. Just pull the little tabs down around the timer, the first one switches it on, the second one switches it off; you set it for as many times as you wish as the tabs are all independent of each other. I think for the price, it is very good value.
