First time in my life I took out the Hard Disk from my dead laptop.
It seemed very easy to do the whole thing. When I tried to put the Hard Disk in the cover, it didn't fit, my disk was too big! Actually, I had to also unscrew a 'cover' that my disk had ( 4 screws) around it.
Then the size of it fit perfectly, but then the disk's 'nose' didn't fit with the inside of the Sunwire's cover. Actually, I had to pull away another protective from my disk's 'nose'. I just tried to pull it gently and it went off, so I guess I did the right thing. Now everything was fine, the hard disk fit perfectly in the cover.
Plugged the thing in another laptop (Windows 7), and although the light in the cover was on, nothing appeared in My Computer! Then I plugged BOTH USBs from the cable provided, and it was recognized immediately! I could see all my files in the hard drive, yeahhhh!
All good then; I just described my situation so that it could be of any help for any other person that has never opened a laptop.
