Sunpak PZ42x canon fit. What can I say I agreed to do a wedding for a friend and didn't have a flashgun. I have a Canon 40d and borrowed a canon 600d camera. I shot a total of 1500 shots during the day and most used flash. Fill in outside and full and fill in inside. I read and read reviews all over the place and was getting very confused. In the end I went for this one as it swivelled as well as bounced (needed for portrait shots off the ceiling!) I used two sets of batteries and a third set was still very full when I got home. I shot in full sun inside large building and party afterwards and colours recharge time and simple operation were great. I had to change settings very quickly during a wedding and I didnt miss any thing as it was simple to use. It worked well on both cameras. Totally impressed and more than a little relieved with the results. couldn't recommend enough. Top marks buy one if you can't afford a canon flash!

I am really pleased with this flashgun. As a novice I find it hard to justify spending the kind of money needed to buy a Canon flash gun. However, the Sunpak meets all my needs.

It is great on camera and takes full advantage of the ETTL producing fantastic results. The tilt and swivel flash head allows you to bounce the flash giving you access to a wider range of photo setups as well as balancing the background in dark conditions. My remote triggers do not support ETTL but Sunpak has preformed well off camera in manual mode.

The only downside to this flashgun is the manual which is a very basic.

Good flash and good to use as a slave but bought for a cannon 600d in the hopes that 2nd curtain sync would work and it turns out that curtain syncing with this flash isn't compatible on any cannon be warned.
This was my error and I have since sent back the flash for a full refund without any problems.

This flash makes all the difference. I'm a newbie to the world of DLSR (Canon EOS 500D) and tried out the camera on a Fjords cruise recently.

Took some shots with inbuilt flash in the restaurant of our table and then took another using this flash. The difference was immediately evident.

If you are going to go to the expense of buying a DLSR you OWE it to yourself and your photos to get this flash.

I recently purchased the Sunpak PZ42X which I was assured would work wirelessly with a Canon EOS 7D camera.
This does not appear to be the case as a Wireless Radio Trigger is required for the flash to receive Camera signals.
The Flash works Ok on the camera hot shoe.
If you Buy an expensive Camera don't waste money on a cheap flash.
The box packaging is not easy to open so take extra care when opening otherwise return of goods is difficult.
