This was my first book by this author which I got on Kindle. A lovely heartwarming story not without its tragedies. It spans the years in the aftermath of the First World War and chronicles the lives of a close knit Liverpool family. It is fairly predictable but I would recommend it as a good holiday read. Will definitely read lots more by Lyn Andrews.

A story which shows a cross of social divides, people trying to adjust to life after the great war and losing loved ones.
