A collection of working sundial models to cut out and make. They're easy to make and they work well too.
A wide range of designs is squeezed into this book and they present a good sequence that explains their increasing complexity in an understandable order. I particularly liked the way that the theory pages can be re-stapled back together into a little booklet, preserving its information after the main book has been carved up for the models.
As well as a fun and interesting book for kids, this is also a good primer for budding adult diallists. My next sundial after reading this book was made from wrought iron!
