This is an excellent book telling the story of how Sunderland grew from a few medieval houses into a thriving industrial city. It is well illustrated and carefully researched. As a lot of the heavy industry has gone now books like this will be necessary to remind us of our past. I received the book quickly and got it at a good price. I am very satisfied.
