I'm not very good with words but I felt that the other review on here wasn't very detailed so i'm having a go.
Lin Sangster is an immensley talented songwriter who fronted the cult Liverpool bands Send No Flowers and Kit. Why it has taken her so long to release her (in a sense) solo album is bizarre. It's very lo-fi and acoustic but i wouldn't compare it to Badly Drawn Boy, it's more like Shack (especially Mick Heads wonderful Strands album), Bob Dylan and a touch of PJ Harvey (the track Slow Murder especially.)
I find it hard to say what my favourite songs are as i love them all, but the ones that grabbed me on the 1st listen were Ridin' High, Seeing Things and I Saw The Sun.
