I ordered this for my son so that he didn't have to keep swapping batteries all of the time on his wireless controller, and continue to play his games.
Unfortunately, the build quality is quite shoddy on this product, because after I had attached it to the Xbox 360 controller, the fit was very tight, and when I tried to remove it the casing flew apart. On closer inspection, the screws used to hold the panel in place are either too short, or they do not have enough plastic to screw into.
The battery charge pack that comes with it is also incompatible with the Microsoft standalone Charger kit, so the battery cannot even be charged without plugging the wire into the controller and Xbox.
In the end I simply bought an extra Microsoft battery pack to use with the official MS Charger kit, so this wired charger was a complete waste of money.
I would never buy another product from this manufacturer as a result, and will stick to Microsoft's own official products even if they are more expensive.

I ordered two of these packs, lured in by the relatively cheap price compared to the same product produced by other manufacturers.
Problem is... That the rechargeable battery pack simply wont hold its charge. It has to be plugged in on the charge cable at all times for my Xbox 360 controller to work. Defeating the idea of wireless.

As my original Xbox 360 Charge and play kit got worn and shorter on life from battery length i purchased this to keep on enjoying my xbox experiance, the trouble is i used this kit and thought "ok this is not too bad, a lot shorter on the charge lead but useable". after one month the new battery purchased did not hold a charge and became a permanent thing of having the charge lead inserted, i went out thinking it may be the lead at fault and purchased a base station charge unit, this led to a problem that the battery will not charge in standard microsoft base unit charger..., for me a waste of money and will not be purchasing again.
