Product Description

Caitlin has always craved excitement but knows she will never find it with her boring family. Unexpectedly she is swept into a flurry of parties and an exotic holiday abroad. Based on the plot of NORTHANGER ABBEY, this book shows that not much changes over the centuries

First Sentence
'SO CAN I ? CAN I COME OVER TO YOUR PLACE ON SATURDAY?' Izzy Thorpe pranced over to Caitlin, who was sprawled on one of the beanbags in the Day Den and gazed down at her with sea-green eyes as wistful as if she'd been some poor, homeless kid longing for a bed for the night, instead of the daughter of a cabinet minister and a woman whose knitwear designs were sought after by the glitterati of the world. Read the first page

Northanger Abbey 13 July 2007
Format:Paperback
Summer of Secrets is an amazing book, it had me glued to the pages from the start. Rosie Rushton has managed to take Northanger Abbey and turn it into a mordern story, however she has kept the story line similar to Northanger Abbey. Its fully lived up to the expectations i had after reading The Summer of Love.
