I did'nt see the Channel 4 Season The Summer Of Love, but this makes up for that.
No one can complain about A Whiter Shade Of Pale, God Only Knows or Nights In White Satin, but it's the less well known tracks that make this one of the best 1960s compilantions.
Take The Who's Magic Bus, Love's Alone Again Or, Mamma Cass's It's Getting Better, Jethro Tull's Living In The Past, David Bowie's Space Oddity and The Stooges's 1969.
To chose just one track above all others would be near impossible, except that Space Oddity is very rare on any compilation, so that's it!
Don't take my word for it, get your own copy !

The songs come on the radio, and you humm along to them. You have no idea where you first heard them or how you know them. But whilest humming along you think to yourself, "I wish I knew who wrote this," or "I wish I had this on CD". Well this album has done exactly that. It has all the songs that you know even if you don't recognise the band or the song title. Its fantastic. It really cheered me up, and most of all I feel knowledgable when 'that' song comes on the radio and nobody else knows who it is!
