Was wondering if this was one of those things you buy and it sits in a cupboard unused, but this was a good purchase. We took it on holiday with us (for my 16 month old). She loves to feed herself, but not everything stays in the bowl or reaches the target. The highchairs often did not have trays. This stopped her making a mess of the tablecloth, kept the food off dirty tables, and the scoop was great for stopping half her dinner ending up in her lap. When it was time to leave, it just needed a quick wipe then rolled up for carrying. Well worth the money.

This was perfect for my don who is being baby led weaned. I don't bother with plates I just put his food straight on the mat!

My husband was totally unconvinced by this when i bought it but has commented on numerous occasions what a good idea it is. It really catches a lot of food and is much better for porridge soups, my son is 2 and still uses it for certain meals so you'll get a lot of wear out of it. As other people have said it does stain with tomato sauce but it will fade over time and its so easy to wash in the sink. Definitely worth the money!
