I initially bought the plastic potties that are available everywhere thinking we could use it for potty training. However my daughter hated it and was unhappy using it. So we upgraded to this one and things changed dramatically. 2 imporant features to note: 1 it emulates the 'real-life' toilet, which is great as kids learn by copying adults, and 2 it has a comfortable (removable) seat which the kids can sit on for a while without getting sore. This seat is also transportable and be used on the normal toilets when you are out and about.
I strongly recommend it for potty training.

Fantastic product , my daughter started using it straight away , the cushioned seat is great they should do them for adults! really compact ,easy to use ,my daughter loves it .
