Initially this was great as we didn't need to check our son every hour as with a purely audio monitor. This didn't last long though as we soon discovered that it was highly prone to interference from most things, like our pet cat walking past the monitor. 9 months later we are now finding that the video is showing dark vertical bands and the picture is shrinking. Oh and don't think of using a microwave within 7 meters of this thing either.

This product is special; You only have to look at the medals and awards from all the Top Parenting magazines to see that!

We first heard of the product through a local friend on our NCT area and despite having the Tommee Tippee Suresound already we decided to splash out a very reasonable amount on this monitor and we love it. Normal monitors just let you listen to baby breathing, this one can show us at night, in the dark if the little one has turned over or is sleeping at a bad angle etc, priceless.

The picture quality in our 4 bed house, any room, is excellent, either with the parent unit in the Kitchen and the monitor in the top bedroom (3 floors above).

An excellent, inventive, award winning product!

This monitor I wouldn't recommend to anyone as I felt the reception was poor in my own house. I had the TV downstairs and the child's room was directly above and both the camera and TV were no more than 6 meters apart and I could not receive no picture no matter what channel I was on. It may also be noted that I have concrete barges in the house which may have blocked the signal and when I mentioned this to the supplier they agreed that was my problem which was no good to me. Overall I would spend more money and get a better quality TV monitor so that I can at least see my child.
