I bought this for when my 4 month old granddaughter visits, she is a fidgety baby, arms and legs going every which way and this means that she is safely tucked into the bath,lying semi supine but supported fully and its so much easier to bathe her without trying to hold on to a slippery baby. I wish they had had these when my children were babies! Of course you still have to exercise common sense and not leave them unattended under any circumstance but it does leave your hands free to wash them properly and rinsing is a doddle now! You can keep the soap and water from going in their eyes so much easier when you can shield their eyes with one hand and rinse with the other! What a marvellous invention!

I first used this when my daughter was newborn. That first bath is quite scary and we used this so baby would have something to rest on and not slip about- although I don't think any product makes that first splash any easier when you're nervous and the baby is screaming! Now we find this item indispensible, little one is 16 weeks and this product makes it much easier to bath her now she is a bit more active. I sit her up on this and she can splash about and not slip.
This bath sponge is quite large and not quite the right shape for most baby baths but it squashes in fine. The only thing that you need to be careful about is wringing it out after use like you would any other sponge, but due it its size this is hard to do. Other than that a useful product.

I bought this to make the baby bath more comfortable for my baby Son & to help me wash him without having to hold him. It did the job very well until he was able to sit on his own by which time it was starting to show signs of mould despite rinsing & hanging to dry after each use. Worth the money.
