The wonderful two tone voice of Corey returns in this epic Slipknot track. Gravelly at first then beautifully melodic. This song is really fresh sounding for Slipknot, taking their trademark sound in a new direction. Joey's drumming really stands out keeping a rhythmic beat then hammering home during the chorus. All in all, a winner!

When I first heard this track, it put the biggest smile on my face because it truly felt like Slipknot.Were.Back. Any fan can tell you that Vol.3 was a ropey time for the band but Sulfur and All Hope Is Gone, the album, prove that Slipknot are the strongest metal band ever. They can afford to take time off, take their time making an album, and completely destroy every time they come back. This single is no exception; following the release of the infinitely less heavy "Dead Memories", "Sulfur" just kind of proves that the heaviness and power hasn't gone anywhere. The verses are heavy and the choruses are the best on the album, in my opinion. If you saw this band headline Download then you'd know that this really is what they can do as it sounded absolutely perfect live. Sulfur brings the best message to Metal and that is that Slipknot aren't going anywhere!!!!!!

This song is SO Slipknot! It's fast, heavy, top guitar riffs, wicked drumming and of course Corey's amazing vocals.
I just love Slipknot and when I first heard this song from the recent album "All Hope Is Gone", I fell in love with it! A great song to sing along to as well.
