This book is ideal for media students who wish to find out more on the influence of popular culture on the fashion industry. It may also be useful to fashion design students who would like some reasons as to why certain garments were worn during certain era's. Angela McCobbie made a marvellous attempt to bring a number of different writers together under one cover, giving you a taste of different writing styles. Although the book is part of the 'Youth Questions' series some youths may find the vocabulary a little difficult.
However, with a good dictionary at ther side they'll find out some interesting facts and qoutes.
