I hear nothing but great stuff about this DVD and Jillian, but I have to tell you, I have yet to shred anything! I gained weight rather than lost it, and although I look slightly more toned (if you look REALLY carefully), I'm not happy about having gained weight that won't come off anymore when the goal was to lose weight! I'm in my fourth week now, but I am still doing phase 1. Here we get to the other part that bothered me, the gap from 1 to 2 is ENORMOUS! I tried 2 once and nearly died! I have increased the intensity of phase 1, put in a few of the exercises of 2 (like the double jump rope) and hopefully I'll have to guts to try phase 2 again some time soon :)
Congratulations on your perseverance with the programme, which I am about to order thanks to the positive reviews and ongoing discussion forums. I think it's great advice to measure yourself regularly thrughout the programme as you should definitely be toning up, possibly dropping the odd dress size, and do remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so although the scales are not yet congratulating you the tape meaasure should!
