5.0 out of 5 stars BEST ALBUM EVER!!! 6 Jun 2004
Format:Audio CD
This album is, I think, the best album ever released. This album uses a perfect blend of pop and hardcore which became unbalanced on later albums. Oh yeah, it also has the best lyrics ever written. Definitely the best album you'll ever buy.

1. You Are (the Government) 10/10 - Great, fast song with brilliant lyrics.
2. 1000 More Fools 10/10 - Wow. Who'd have thought you'd ever find words like "inchoate" and "obsequious" in a punk rock song?
3. How Much Is Enough 10/10 - Another great song, one of the best on the CD.
4. When? 10/10 - Also great, a bit similar to the previous track, but the previous track was great!
5. Give You Nothing 8/10 - My least favourite on the CD. It still rocks, just not as much as the others.
6. Land of Competition 10/10 - My favourite song of ALL TIME! Couldn't agree with the lyrics more.
7. Forbidden Beat 10/10 - Again, rather similar to the previous song, but if the previous song was so good, then this can't be bad!
8. Best For You 9/10 - Cool sarcastic song.
9. Suffer 10/10 - Really cool title track, the alternative lyrics were better though (in the All Ages booklet)!
10. Delirium of Disorder 10/10 - Again, great lyrics, and actually a bit of humour for a change! How often do you hear humour in a BR song?
11. Part II (the Numbers Game) 10/10 - My second favourite on the CD, mainly because of the lyrics.
12. What Can You Do? 10/10 - Really cool song, with a nice key change in the chorus.
13. Do What You Want 10/10 - Fastest, catchiest song BR ever wrote! Lyrics aren't as good as on other songs, but who cares?
14. Part IV (the Index Fossil) 9/10 - The lyrics are cool, as I'm sure any archaeologist will agree, but the music isn't that good.
15. Pessimistic Lines 10/10 - Great song to end with.

5.0 out of 5 stars DEFINITELY the best of all time! 16 Aug 2005
Format:Audio CD
This album, which I originally bought on vinyl and now own on CD, is, in my opinion, not only the best Bad Religion album, not only the best PUNK album of all time, but actually THE best album of all time, full stop. It's fast, but it's clear, Greg Graffin's lyrics are the best ever written, it contains THE best punk song ever... 'Do What You Want'. Yes, of course this is all very subjective and debatable, but that's what personal reviews are all about. I bought it first about 15 years ago and played it about 5 times a day, everyday for months... which is usually enough to kill any album... but I still love it now ... never got bored. Personally I rate it even higher than BAD BRAINS'- Rock for Light... Even higher than DK's Fresh Fruit...EVEN higher than Discharge's Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing... and believe me (if your unfortunate enough to not know this already), that's really good ... expletively good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bad Religion: Suffer Remastered 21 April 2004
Format:Audio CD
The album Suffer by Bad Religion was originally released in 1988. Upon itsrealease it was named by many the punk album of the year. The sound on theoriginal album didn't sound as clear as could of done and compared totheir most recent releases the sound doesn't quite match them. This couldbe the reason why the band have re-released and remastered another 4 oftheir albums. The album in its self outstanding from the driving force ofthe guitars to Gregs vocals these are all indeed amazing. The onlycritisms that I have of the album is that the songs are fairly short andmany of them have the same song structure. This is not really a bad thingas Bad Religion have an excellent formula for songs and if somethings notbroke why fix it. Any way if you want an album that is fast and qick andto the point then get this. Deffinetly one for fans.
