Nikki Triano has worked for Toraos Stephanos for six years as his personal assistant. For almost all of that time she has been in love with him. But he is oblivious. He is a workaholic he lives and breathes for the cosmetics company his mother owns.
What Nikki doesn't know is that Tor is a Demi-god, the son of Aphrodite. He also knows that Nikki is a Demi-godess the daughter of Ares god of war. But Nikki has no idea about any of this. Mostly because she has not come into her powers yet.
Women love Tor, in particular another employee from the legal department. But so far Tor is resistant to her charms. But then she doses his wine with Ambrosia hoping to get him into bed. But instead of bedding her, it's Nikki that gets lucky. Nikki can hardly believe that after all this timeTor is actually seducing her. They spend an explosive night together. Nikki wonders what will happen the next day at the office, she soon has her answer. Nothing, Tor doesn't even remember. As far as Nikki is concerned this means war.
I really enjoyed this story, it's lighthearted and very romantic with plenty of humour. The characters are well written, and the story flows nicely. This is an ideal holiday read.
