I have found this product to be an efficient and inexpensive aid to recording phone conversations provided I used a corded telephone. It did not work at all on the cordless telephone set I normally use.
So, when making phone conversations I wish to record, I now ensure I use my corded telephone, attatch the sucker containing the microphone to the back of the telephone handset ear-piece, switch on the recorder and make the call. It does the job perfectly well, with both sides of the conversation being recorded with equal clarity.

"How can a telephone microphone designed to record both sides of a conversation and costing under £1.50 possibly work?" I wondered.
I needn't have bothered as it works well.
You need to attach it to a personal voice recorder or a tape recorder etc. and it provides a clear recording of telephone conversations.
OK, it's not BBC hi-fi quality but you are not paying hundreds of pounds!
One minor snag is that on my matt finished telephones the suction cup only holds for a couple of minutes, but I found that a bit of adhesive tape holds it securely.
I needn't have bothered as it works well.

Amazon Verified Purchase
For such an inexpensive piece of kit I was surprised that this item worked so well. The sucker attached to the handset of my phone and stayed there until I chose to remove it. Even though I used a cheap digital recorder the sound quality was excellent with both sides of the conversation being recorded clearly and without interference.
