Every single song included in this soothing album is simply great. All of them are mellow, soft, and touch the bottom of your heart. I have quite a few PPL's CDs and this is the very best (except for the tape format of 'Reunion'). I strongly recommend this album to those who love Peter, Paul, and Mary. Just sit back and bask in the aura of their musical inspiration.
For Stan Rogers fans, the rendition of "Delivery Delayed" was every bit as powerful as Stan's own. "There But For Fortune", a Phil Ochs classic, evoked overtones of Harry Chapin's Phil Ochs story, "The Parade's Still Passing By". And that's just two of my favorites.
The vocal harmony on the album is crisp, and bassist Dick Kniss stands out more with songs not usually heard on PP&M albums. As soon as I saw this on CD, I bought it. You should too. There isn't a clunker in the bunch. It's a good change of pace from the "concert standards" we know and love, and an opportunity to hear them at their best.
