This book looks rather jaded and suffers from old fashioned and clunky diagrams and layout at first glance. However the actual content was invaluable to me as the first page was enough to prompt me to ask myself, "Why am I still working in a job I hate" just as the author had done. There are much better examples of casting and mould making to be found but this text goes deeper than how to do things. It opens your eyes about how the author decided to get out of the rat race and change his life by doing something completely different, ie casting and mould making.

I wouldn't recommend this book for die hard mould makers but it is an interesting read and I am now enjoying retirement at 52 partly because of the words on the first page.
