"Success" is a great album, but the 2013 reissue from Cherry Pop Records is disappointing. As other reviewers have pointed out, the remastering isn't very good. You can hear clicks on many of the album tracks, and some of the bonus tracks seem to be sourced from vinyl.

I know a lot of work goes into making these reissues possible, and that sometimes, original master tapes can't be found. That's understandable. However, removing clicks and pops is an easy thing to do, so there's no excuse to release a classic album without cleaning it up a little.

It's a shame because many of the Cherry Pop reissues sound great. This just isn't one of them. I expect more from a reissue marketed as "digitally remastered", that's all.

what can I say a top 80s album. still love 30 years after it came out but not the best remaster as one bonus track is a vinyl rip!!! were's the master tapes? 10/10 for the booklet but sound could be better.

This 1983 album was produced by Paul Jabara. It contains two massive Hi-NRG hits in the form of It's Raining Men and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair.

The album opens with the vibrant track Success where the two contrasting voices of the girls come over most distinctly. Hungry For Love is a funky mid-tempo song, whilst Dear Santa starts out as a slow Christmas ballad with soulful vocals before the fast Hi-NRG beat kicks in.

Hope is an uplifting song with some impressive vocals. The real appeal of the album lies however in the closing tracks It's Raining Men, a camp classic with a pulsating beat and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair, a festive number with a catchy tune and foot tapping rhythms. Fans of 1980s dance music will love this album.

A nice little addition for those who like original and alternative versions of songs. The original classic versions are all here with added extras. Just wish those girls could have done more music.

This was a real trip down memory lane for me... When I saw it I thought it was a must and it's fantastic to sing along to. Haven't heard it since my teens but didn't disappoint!
