easy to use 31 May 2011
Very easy to use and accessible book for learners undertaking Psychology courses. Has a contemporary feel to the layout and content. I think the previous anonymous reviewer must have been referring to a different book.

great new resource 31 May 2011
I consider the negative review here to be unnecessarily hostile and inaccurate in content. This book is intended to be succinct, snappy, accessible and engaging for Higher Psychology pupils and, in my opinion, it is just that. I have been using it with my class since it was published and it has been well received by them and effective for their revision.

As a revision tool, this is a useful book. It is particularly well presented, colourful, lively and user friendly. It has sections relating to each topic in the higher and some useful examples of research carried out. The main limitation of the book is that it lacks detail in some areas. I teach higher and would expect my students to give a greater level of detail in their exam than in the book. I would say that used along with other resources, this book has a part to play in preparing students for the exam.
