And the 2 stars are Hildegarde (K)neff and Van Johnson, both it could be argued, alittle past their prime, but to me that didn't matter. Neff still looked great, and at least they do add something to what is really a talky version of a stage play. Hardly any location work, an apartment, an army office and a nightclub and that's basically your lot. The plot is a did he do it or not, and if not, who did? if you get my meaning (poor writing). It's only 85' (quite long for a BR "B" film) and the print and sound is first rate. If you are a Neff fan you will like it, and you will if you like Br films of the late 50's. I do and I did. 3 stars cos it is very talky, and Cec Linder got on my nerves. Oh, and they give a cast list on the cover, which is good except that Van's wife is apparently played by both Katherine Kath and Chuck de Keyser (Who is actually the Marine Sgt at the beginning) and good old/young Edward Judd plays a Marine called Molly!! (Molloy). Not the greatest but worth seeing, but get it here not at other pricier outlets.
