My opinion
- - - - - - - - -
Series 2 seems much darker then series 1 to me, we see much darker elements to the gangs lives of crime; Blackmail, sex and murder to name three. The first series had the same topics, but it seems more real this time around.
The main drive of the series is still the wrong-doings committed by Camilla and 'Bad Girls Inc', and while all 3 actresses are great in their roles, I prefer the characters Pam and Margaret from Barbara's gang. They fit into their alternative lives more convincingly; Pam as the prim, twinset and pearl wearing streetfighter and Margaret as the earth mother who has an unhealthy love of guns.
While everyone seems born for their roles, I'm still not convinced by Jewel's and Bill's romance. Jewel is a much bigger personally and basically tells him whats what.

Episode 2
"I don't know what his underpants were made of, but they were so contoured. And tight."
A troupe of Russian male dancers who performed in Little Stempington are seeking political asylum, so Camilla suggests to Jeremy that the garden centre could be used as a temporary holding centre for them. Of course she isn't making suggestions to be helpful - She puts them to work as hosts in her mobile casino to draw in the frustrated housewives.
Speaking of her casino - Chevy, the police officer from Miami, is about to stumble across it...
Meanwhile; Barbara bonds with cellmate Donna and Jewel has decided to stay in Bill's room as he starts university, much to Joyce's delight.
Episode 3
"Where's our profit?"
"Entry, gambling and finger buffet"

Lillian proposes a fem-on-fem fight club to keep the money flowing in, they just need to steal Barbara's 'book of disputes' to find women who need to settle their differences. Camilla plans her revenge on Joyce for the second episode's aftermath...

Episode 5
"Is it true that they put her in an ice hockey mask because she tried to bite one of the nurses?"
Joyce is taken to hospital for nervous exhaustion and Barbara is fitted with a monitoring ankle bracelet, so it looks like Camilla is free to cause as much trouble as she wants. But she's busy looking smug at the opening ceremony for the grounds where the new super casino will be built.
Well, at least she was until the skeleton belonging to Camilla's and Barbara's first victim is dug up... It looks like the two gangs will have to work together to destroy the evidence in Jeremy's freshly launched murder investigation.
Officer Chevy is unhappy about the hold up in the building of the new super casino and gives Camilla 24 hours to sort it out or he'll silence her permanently.
Episode 6
"It's not like Bab's to leave her pottery hedgehogs out of alignment"
Joyce escapes from hospital and heads to Little Stempington to stand up for herself. Camilla and Barbara go missing, leaving the gangs blaming Joyce and planning to work together to "bring the fruit loop down".
Jeremy wants to call Divisional HQ for assistance for the missing body and the kidnappings, but Chevy is on hand to talk him out of it and mess up the investigation.
Everyone is about to collide...
