once again, a fantastic read mr gordon, thanx a lot!

i seem to have written many reviews of his books, as after i've read them i feel compelled to give my praise, and this book was no exception.

the storyline was beleivable (in an imaginative sort of way) and the characters were realistic enought hat u could attach yourself to them when reading the story. i must admit, not wanting to spoil it for those of you who havent read it, the bit where a hormonal cream is used to excentuate certain body areas was a bit far-fetched but nethertheless vry erotic.

the book was a gr8 read, far better than many of his others.

I don't know what the other reviewer meant by this being a totally serious novel which turned out to be hilarious. Perhaps I'm missing something here, but I found no similarities whatsoever with the television series Hi-De-Hi. And female rebels ever so lightly chained? I found the sex scenes in the book not only severe but graphic in the extreme. I'm sure we are both referring to the same book, but where is the contented sighing? Screaming, I would have thought a better word when referring to the naked prisoners when chained and cruelly whipped. In fact, there's more sexual torture in this book than many I have come across. I do agree that this was an entertaining read. I have enjoyed many Ray Gordon books since this one, and hope to enjoy many more.

I first read this book in 1996 and am pleased that it's been republished. Set in the near future, female rebels are out to overthrow the government. Correction centres are set up to deal with the rebelious females. What goes on in the centres is amazing, the graphic sex scenes leaving nothing to the imagination! If you're looking for explicit sex with an excellent story line, then read this book.
